Ever since the
early nineties when Kaplan and Norton introduced the concept of the
Balanced Scorecard, organizations have been quick to adapt the

Kaplan explains in the book “The Balanced Scorecard for

agency, financial measures are not the most relevant indicators of
whether the organization is delivering on the rationale for its

the work of such powerful leaders as Deming, Crosby, Juran and

once and for all to lay the ghost of 'management by results', (in

control' styles of management.
